Iran Stands Ready To Help Iraq

Iran is ready to stand behind it’s neighbour Iraq. The Iranian Government is ready to assist the Iraqi Government in their fight against Sunni Extremists says Iranian President Hassan Rhouhani has said but denies already sending troops in.

It’s funny seeing the Iranians give a helping hand to the Iraqis. After years of the two countries being at each other throats it’s actually a nice sight to see the Iranians and the Iraqis possibly working side by side to establish peace in the region.

I think that’s the great thing with Rhouhani, he seems to be a forward thinking person when it comes to the West and his neighbours. He’s made peace with the West, that’s something I’ve never seen in my life time and now he’s helping out the Iraqis with their Extremist Problem. I know this sounds sarcastic but I expect him to be working an a UN Envoy in some capacity next.

So Iran is another country that has offered help to the Iraqis. America and Britain and now Iran. The funny thing is that nobody will send their own troops in. I don’t know if this is due to fear or due to common sense.

I think it’s a little of both. Either way with what ever you do, do you will probably end up loosing. If Isis take over then outside forces would have lost a war and their will be domestic problems and arguments over going in if they win they could leave the Country unstable again and it could slowly slip in to another Civil War.

They’re damned if they do and Damned if they don’t.

This is the kind of move I like to see come from Iran. I don’t believe that Iran should conform to Western Ideals but at least they’re going out to help their neighbours after years of fighting between the two of them.
