Costa Concordia Captain Guilty Of Manslaughter

The Captain of the Costa Condordia has been found guilty of Manslaughter. Francesco Schettino who captained the doomed cruise liner has been found of Manslaughter and sentenced to 16 years in prison.

There are stories out there that come up where you really can’t say much about them but I’m going to try.

I think I’m shocked on the fact he’s been done on Manslaughter charges. I really feel like he should be on a more serious charge. You don’t want to say the charge is too light but this really does feel like the charges were too light on him.

If he had gone and helped people get off the ship then I think Manslaughter would be a more appropriate charge or something else. However he abandoned ship and left people to struggle and die. I thought one of the pillar of Maritime Law was you had to go down with the ship.

The Question is was 16 years too much or little. I would like to think that it’s just right for this but the fact he pussied out and jumped ship makes me think he should have got longer by a few more years. Really 16 years for Manslaughter and abandoning your post letting people die should carry a heavier sentence.

Myles Bradbury Jailed For Abusing Young Patients

A Doctor has been jailed for abusing young patients. Doctor Myles Bradbury has been sentenced to 22 years in jail for abusing young cancer patients.

Well I can see some of the British Newspapers having a field day on this one tomorrow.

I’m kind of glad that a White Person has made the news for this crime instead of it being an Asian male. Ever since the Rotherham Scandal it has felt like the media has been focusing on Asian Sex rings and tried to divert the attention away from white Pedophiles.

This story really has got an awful feeling of Jimmy Saville. Somebody who was there for us to trust abused sick children because he could.

The Ian Watkins story was sick however this has to be wrong on a lot of levels. This man was put there in a position of authority and trust and he does this.

The Doctor has got 22 years for this. I have to say that he should have got longer. I really do think that abusing 18 sick children who had cancer really deserves a longer sentence.

So I doctor who was abusing children with cancer has been given 22 years for his crimes well to be honest for this crime I think he should have got a lot lot more time.

Brothers Jailed For Training At Syria Terror Camp

Brother jailed for training at Terror Camp. Two British brothers have been jailed for taking part in training at Terror Camps in Syria.

And again it’s another story about terrorism. You get the strange feeling that the Government and the Media are trying to up the rhetoric lately so were we live in fear of something.

Funny that, as there are new anti-terror laws coming out soon.

We’ve known that there are Britain’s going out to Syria to fight for the Kurds and there are people going out there to fight for Islamic State. We already knew so the fact that this story has come out it really doesn’t shock me.

The shocking thing about this whole story is that how stupid they were.

They got arrested at Dover with a load of mementoes. Bullets and pictures of them holding fire arms. Why did they not delete the incriminating evidence and the authorities catch them with it.

STUPID MISTAKE!!!!

You wonder what the Government is going to do to react to this. This should be the most interesting thing ever. This has to be the reason for revoking people’s passports, not that I agree with them if they do, do it.

So two brothers have been jailed for going to a terror camp in Syria. They really should have been arrested for being stupid.

Pistorious Starts Jail Sentence.

Oscar Pistorius starts a five year prison sentence. The South African Athlete has been sentenced to five years in jail for the death of his former Girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

So today the world sat back and said well the South African Justice System is a Joke’

I’m not trying to take the piss here or trying to offend somebody, I’ve actually read comments through out today that has called the South African Justice System an absolute joke.

I find it amazing that a man can kill a person and have a terrible defense on how he shot his then Girlfriend and yet come out with such a light sentence. It really is shocking that this has been aloud to happen.

The worst thing is he’s only spending 10 months behind bars the rest he gets to spend in a luxury home owned by his uncle.

There must be a where Ched Evans who raped a person is feeling hard done to due to the fact a murder has got a lighter sentence than he has. Ched Evans got five years for Rape, Pistorius will be behind bars for 10 months and then chilling in a luxury home.

Disgraceful.

I wonder what would have happened if an average black person had broke in to Pistorius’s house and shot Steenkamp?? I’m guessing life time behind bars with no chance of parole.

It’s beggers believe.

So Pistorius starts the easiest sentence for Murder. The world has now seen what a joke the justice system in South Africa is. Let’s hope they improve it.

Hutton Jailed For Hamzah Killing

Amanda Hutton has been sentence to 15 years in prison. The woman who let her son die of neglect and didn’t report the death for 21 months was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court earlier today.

15 years for manslaughter might seem a bit light of a sentence but I don’t think she’ll been in a metal institution with in a year or so. I’m not going to argue or agree with the the judges sentence because I don’t know what’s appropriate for this crime. I know a lot of people would probably throw away the key but I’d have her mentally checked out.

The more I hear about this story and the more new facts come out the more I’m feeling that Social Services and the Police have seriously screwed up.

She had 8 children. I know you can’t dictate birth to women but if somebody is constantly pushing out children like a factory you would think that it would spark something at Social Services. Even if they consider Hutton to be raped but it looks like they left them and five of the children lived in squalor.

The father has given an interview to the BBC where he claims to raise concerns about the treatment he thought was going on but he say’s he been ignored. I’m not going on about fathers rights but they should have listened to him. Granted he had been violent towards her but if he has raised concerns with them they should have been acted on.

There has been major failings.

I feel like I say this all the time but I’m going to repeat it, there needs to be a review and rule change on how they deal with not just vulnerable children but vulnerable people because we can’t have this going on constantly. This is happening way to often.

It’s time for the UK Government to step in and do something about this then leave it to councils to handle because they can’t handle it by the looks of it.
